2-10 Bethnal Grn Rd, London E1 6GY, United Kingdom In 2011, BOXPARK Shoreditch launched as the world's first "pop-up mall," repurposing 60 shipping containers to create a low-cost, high-impact retail hub on the derelict site of the former Bishopsgate Goodsyard. Designed by Waugh Thistleton Architects, the venue was originally intended to be a temporary five-year installation to support emerging brands that were priced out of traditional high streets.
