Through Clubhouse, our own platform, we help brand owners find the right retail space, join a community of like-minded founders + grow beyond the internet into the real world. For you, that means discovering genuinely independent brands: in pop-ups, at events, and in person. Long before they hit the high street.

How We Started

Lone Design Club started as a handful of independent international fashion and lifestyle brands, uniting with like-minded businesses to rise up, take control, and shape the future of retail. It began with short-term concept stores, appearing for 1-2 weeks at a time. First around London, then internationally from Milan to Shanghai, where designers were in-store telling you first-hand how each product was designed and made. Experiences and events followed, giving designers an intimate outlet to tell their story and giving you, the audience, a chance to engage with topics ranging from sustainable fashion to individual empowerment and entrepreneurship.

For independent brands, having a physical space to call home is everything. It gives you, the shopper, the chance to see, touch and experience the collections in person: something a screen can never quite replace. That's why we built Clubhouse: to pull more independent brands out of the feed and into spaces you can actually walk into. Because the best part of discovering a brand you love isn't the algorithm that found it for you,  it's the moment you hold the product in your hands, or shake the hand of the person who made it.

Our boutiques are an immersive experience and host a range of events. From speaker panels to intimate interactive workshops, designer meet & greets, and personal shopping, we explore topics from fashion sustainability + tech to entrepreneurship and empowerment.
