Lower Impact Style

Good News is a London footwear label built around a single question: why should trainers made from organic and recycled materials look any less desirable than conventional ones? Drawing inspiration from retro American culture and baseball, the brand combines 1970s colour palettes with clean, minimalist lines to create fresh, unisex silhouettes. Every style is engineered to reduce its carbon, chemical and water footprint at every stage of production, without asking customers to compromise on the design they actually want to wear.

Footwear with a Social Mission

Good News extends its values beyond materials and into impact, working closely with its factories and suppliers on initiatives like Good Luck Shoes, which has provided thousands of pairs of functional footwear to migrants and refugees arriving in Italy. It’s an approach that treats sustainability and social responsibility as inseparable, positioning Good News as a footwear brand built for people who want their trainers to stand for something beyond good looks.

Good News was founded by Ben Tattersall and Nia Jones, who met while working across various footwear brands — Nia in design, Ben in sales and marketing. Frustrated by how much of the footwear industry treated sustainability as an afterthought, the pair set out to build a brand where organic and recycled materials were the starting point, not a side collection. Since launching in London, they’ve grown Good News into a distinctive name in conscious footwear, proving that responsible manufacturing and genuinely covetable design can coexist.
