Sonderlust is a community driven independent label redefining the boundaries of conscious outdoor apparel. Born out of a love for travel, festival culture, and the beauty of the outdoors, Sonderlust fuses high-spirited aesthetics with an uncompromising commitment to the planet. From weather-resistant performance accessories to their signature recycled fleece outerwear, every piece is created to bridge the gap between wilderness exploration and street style.

Community and Conscious Impact

Their production is mindful, relying strictly on certified lower-impact materials like organic cotton and post-consumer recycled polyester. Deeply rooted in community and mental health, Sonderlust treats apparel as a canvas for connection, launching purposeful charity collaborations like their Wave Project partnership to support youth mental health. Creating for a daring global collective of trailblazers, Sonderlust designs for those who view stepping outside as a celebration of the wild and an uncompromised statement of conscious living.

The brand was co-founded by Rudi Baldwin and Rhiannon Jones, who first crossed paths in 2016 while working together on a festival clothing stall. Driven by a shared love for travel, colourful outfits, and van-life exploration, they launched Sonderlust to bring the pure joy of fun times back to outdoor apparel. Their collection is personal and rooted in real-world experiences, drawing inspiration from people they’ve met along the way. They design conscious clothing that reminds everyone to step outside and enjoy the present moment.
