Lone Design Club is cutting through the noise of a saturated fast‐fashion market and shaking up the conventional shopping experience by challenging traditional retail offerings both in the UK and internationally. Presenting a new immersive shopping experience LDC is blurring the lines between consumers online and in‐store purchasing experiences.

Lone Design Club seamlessly blend their physical stores with online experiences through live streams, an online marketplace, mobile self‐checkout and product information and QR codes connecting the physical to the digital.

The beauty of LDC is that every concept store is unique. Whether it is displaying a new emerging premium brand, discovering one-of-a-kind products, or gaining a glimpse into the fashion world with their in‐store experiences and events led by influential individuals within the fashion industry.

How it Started

Lone Design Club was founded in May 2018 as the result of emerging international fashion + lifestyle brands uniting with like-minded businesses in rising up, taking control and shaping the future of retail.

It started by creating short term concept stores appearing for 1-2 weeks at a time, first around London and then internationally, where designers are in-store telling you first-hand accounts of how the product was designed and made. Experiences and events followed, allowing designers an intimate outlet to tell their story and the audience a chance to interact with topics ranging from sustainable fashion to individual empowerment and entrepreneurship. Shortly after, Lone Design Club launched its online store, giving their community a new avenue to further relationships that is open 24/7. Both physical and digital platforms allow consumers to discover + shop from independent brands with traceable and mindful practices, selling exclusive and one of a kind items incomparable to that on the high street. To shop consciously, knowing the story behind every purchase.

LDC encourages independent designers to actively take the reins of their small + independent brands by focusing on selling direct, building relationships, and understanding their customers' needs and wants.

For independent designers, Lone Design Club provides both marketing and retail support, but arguably most importantly, a community to face the unknown with. Lone Design Club is blazing a new path and together we are stronger. Through both digital support + in-person meetups Lone Design Club allow our brand founders a place to be inspired, collaborate, inquire, learn and grow.
