SENTIENT is a true and vivid reflection of the principles and convictions of its founder: Jimena Suárez. Jimena has poured her deep conviction that her philosophy in life has been that humans and nonhuman animals deserve respect and to be free of abuse, mistreatment or restrictions of their innate liberties.

Creating fashion with a spirit of unity & compassion, SENTIENT seeks a world built on kindness, compassion and unity towards human and non-human animals, as well as Mother Earth.

We have created the LDC values in the form of our three symbols that explore the mindful, traceable and transparent processes and practices that our brands adhere to and stand for, to help you discover how the products are made and make conscious choices.

As a commitment to extended producer responsibility, as of 2023 SENTIENT will be launching take-back programs, in an effort to reuse and recycle used accessories and clothing.

SENTIENT works in partnership with local workshops, artisans and independent businesses to guarantee the creation of decent jobs and the promotion of sustained and inclusive economic growth within communities.
