THE DESIGNERS
WEOLA is founded by two sisters, Ezgihan Talay and Ozgehan Talay, with backgrounds in engineering and fashion. Having been inside textile industry for twenty years as a family business, they witnessed harmful effects behind the process of manufacturing and distribution. As a result, WEOLA aims to create ethical and sustainable textile by bringing comfort to the heart and mind, and with the feeling of luxury.
ABOUT THE BRAND
WEOLA takes its inspiration from the primitve beauty of nature. The designs are planned with aesthetic details and various engineered ways to wear it, allowing freedom to women. The designs are simple, minimalist yet original pieces that fit any wardrobe. From long bindings to deep V cuts, they aim for accessible luxury brand with modern sophistication and elegance.
We have created the LDC values in the form of our three symbols that explore the mindful, traceable and transparent processes and practices that our brands adhere to and stand for, to help you discover how the products are made and make conscious choices.
WEOLA uses sustainable textiles including Cupro, Tencel, Linen, Hemp and organic cotton to reduce environmental pollution.
WEOLA aims to provide a safe environment for employees at all stages of production. It fulfils the legal obligations and applies all security procedures by ensuring balanced working hours, adequate compensation and full protection against injury.
