Holly and Jordan, the creators behind Trash Planet met on their masters course back in 2019, from there they dreamt up a plan to disrupt the fashion industry.
Tired of bland sustainable brands with empty promises, they risked it all and moved to Portugal to bring to life a sustainable and ethical shoe brand that is on its way to creating a 100% recycled sneaker. Both insistent in knowing and understanding the process from start to finish and meeting every supplier and worker within their chain, Holly and Jordan have created a sustainable, transparent brand that doesn't sacrifice style or durability.
Trash Planet is focussed on making a 100% recycled sneaker. With sustainability at its roots, they have made it their mission to keep evolving and developing designs and materials to create the most fashion forward, ethical and sustainable sneakers on the market.
We have created the LDC values in the form of our three symbols that explore the mindful, traceable and transparent processes and practices that our brands adhere to and stand for, to help you discover how the products are made and make conscious choices.
Trash Planet sneakers are made from recycled materials.
Send your old Trash Planet sneakers back and get £20 off your next pair as part of Trash Planets initiative to make sure every sneaker has a chance of being reused and reborn.
Trash Planet will plant 15 trees for you when you purchase a pair to aid in reforesting mangroves in Madagascar and to make your purchase carbon negative.
87% of the worlds footwear is made in Asia due to cheap materials and workers being exploited. To avoid this, Trash Planet is based in Portugal to ensure good working conditions in factories and supply chains.
