ABOUT THE BRAND
In 2016, after spotting a gap in the market for lingerie that was both ethical and truly luxurious, and recognising a demand for her to launch her own line, founder, Pia, began to develop her eponymous brand.
As a lifelong veggie, she was determined to create the first lingerie brand using exclusively cruelty-free, organic, peace silk.
Her vision was to design a collection of creative, investment pieces, which challenge preconceptions about ethical fashion aesthetics.
The brand launched in 2017 and has grown quickly ever since. .
Studio Pia is ethically crafted in the UK and Europe, every garment is designed to be ultra flattering on a range of body types, achieved through expert use of supportive cuts, light body-shaping elements, and adjustable sections, allowing for a personalised fit.
THE DESIGNER
Pia Conaghan, the woman behind Studio Pia, has been quietly establishing herself at the heart of the luxury lingerie industry for the last 7+ years.
She completed her design BA at London College of Fashion in 2009, and quickly worked her way to becoming the designer in charge at Bordelle, where her creations were worn by the likes of Madonna, Beyonce and Britney Spears.
We have created the LDC values in the form of our three symbols that explore the mindful, traceable and transparent processes and practices that our brands adhere to and stand for, to help you discover how the products are made and make conscious choices.
