Irene Djosef was born and raised in Indonesia. She lived in various parts of Asia throughout her life and eventually found her way to Berlin. After working for years as a graphic designer she decided to break out of her comfort zone and discovered her passion for jewellery design. She expresses her artistry through metals and tangible raw materials. Her aim is to make a positive difference in people’s lives.
Joulala is a jewellery brand based in Berlin. Multi-culturally inspired, thoughtfully crafted designs are transformed into distinctive and alluring pieces. Joulala offers edgy, refined, contemporary jewellery for seekers, explorers, and curious souls. Joulala hopes their pieces convey excitement and fun for the wearer.
We have created the LDC values in the form of our three symbols that explore the mindful, traceable and transparent processes and practices that our brands adhere to and stand for, to help you discover how the products are made and make conscious choices.
For every item you purchase, Joulala give 10% to selected partner charity organisations, such as the preservation project of Komodo dragons in Indonesia.
