Gina Farran decided to create Glaize because as a former investment banker, she had an incredibly busy schedule, with no time to visit a nail salon. She strived to create a nail care solution that was better suited to her lifestyle than the current options available. Gina became particularly interested in the chemistry and formulation side of nail care which hasn’t seen any innovation since the invention of UV gels in the 1970s, and set out to create a convenient, non-harmful and innovative nail care alternative; enter Glaize.
Glaize is the UK's first and only digital-first nail care brand, on a mission to reinvent the industry through technology. Launching in March and set to become the nail trend of 2022, Glaize offers bespoke stick-on gel nails like you’ve never seen before. Using proprietary computer vision technology, Glaize creates made-to-measure gel nail stickers based on images submitted by the customer, meaning each set is completely bespoke to their nail shape.

Glaize strives to make their products as sustainable as possible by developing unique gel formula that not only incorporates bio-based materials, making it more sustainable than traditional manicures, but also offers high-performance shine & longevity.

Glaize partnered with Beit el Baraka, a Lebanese NGO that aims to assist Lebanese citizens with the increasing cost of living by providing access to food, medical services, social security, retirement pensions, and education, home reconstruction as well as other support.
