Support Now, Wear Later, Join the Conversation

For our first total month in isolation, LDC saw an entire shift from a series of planned pop up concept stores to a complete online presence. We want to say thank you for coming with us on this journey so far. There's so much more to come!

As we enter a new month, we introduce our newest campaign Support Now, Wear Later.  

Each designer has an inspirational journey about their brand, which we feel deserves to be shared. We have been thrilled to be part of these journeys and help share their stories.

By way of update, a few of our brands have put a short pause on their production in order to keep staff safe. Whilst these brands cannot fulfill orders immediately, we have decided to launch this initiative to help keep them alive during this uncertain time; helping them by 'Banking orders for a brighter day'. We want to encourage you to continue supporting these beautiful collections, knowing that for a few brands the ETA will be announced as soon as possible with our Support Now, Wear Later campaign. Join the community by acting now, and receive a little later to keep independent fashion businesses going.

That's not the only excitement we've got planned for this month. With fabulous new brands joining the website, a whole host of events and experiences, care packages to show those far away from you right now that you love and miss them + so much more!

We've recently seen cool and sustainable brand Birdsong London join the website, showing off their dress to protest collection and designs that will instill envy in the eye of the beholder. You can discover their collection and read all about them in our previous article, here.

For those who crave a little home comforts we've been so happy to include ethical candle brand, Elm Rd. whose scents and design will make you feel calm, relaxed and cosy in your flat. Sit back, light a candle and enjoy a cup of coffee in your Neon Kactus, sustainable travel mug. You might be missing the tube every morning, but coffee cups are still essential for that early commute from bed to kitchen to sofa.

Weekend Workshops continue - back by popular demand, we're seeing a rerun of our DIY Mask kits, headband workshops and the LDC x SABINNA EXCLUSIVE workshop where you can craft your own flower accessory out of glass beads and make a fabulous hair clip! Our newest events in the roster is a DIY scrunchie workshop with the mastermind behind Kim Dave. Keep your eye out for a candle workshop that will be making its way to you soon! We can't think of a better way to spend rainy isolation weekends than by getting creative and making cool new accessories to show off on Zoom!

Our Instagram LIVEs continue to keep you connected with the club. Talking with industry experts about what is happening in the industry, interviewing your favourite Instagrammers and showing you the top tips and tricks in styling this month. You can expect to hear from the likes of Natalie Anderson of The Capsule, who will be chatting to LDC Founder and CEO, Rebecca; on being a female led business, independent brands and so much more, join the conversation here. Or do you fancy stripping it back and recentering with a meditation or yoga experience with Urban? Tune into our Weekend Wellness Sunday's and see out the weekend with a relaxation session.
May's shaping up to be an exciting time for the Club. We'll see how the world changes in many ways and now, as always, we plan to support our community, weather this storm together and have fun along the way.
