MARCH: WHATS ON IN THE CLUB

Lone Design Club Champions Female-Led brands With International Women’s Day Pop-Up and Events #breakthebias

In celebration of the International Women’s Day 2022 #breakthebias campaign, female-founded omnichannel retailer Lone Design Club will celebrate with a unique curation of female-empowering, independent and sustainable brands at their central London, Covent Garden pop-up store.

LDC IWD store will showcase both new and regular planet conscious, female-led brands. These brands are breaking the mould and glass ceiling in the fashion, beauty and lifestyle industries, and with the retail renaissance in full flow, LDC can’t wait to get these brands on the high street.

“When people think about fashion, for many, it is an industry synonymously associated with women. At a first glance, they’re not incorrect, women indeed tend to spend more time studying, spending and shopping than men. However, while females may be the target audience, fashion remains a male-dominated business. *

While 85% of graduates studying and working in fashion are female, only 14% of the major fashion brands are led by women. Many of the most influential fashion houses are still run by men. However, we are slowly beginning to see a rise of the female CEO in fashion. LDC is delighted to be a part of this movement, showcasing these extraordinary female-led brands in one of London's premium shopping locations, 138 Long Arce”. LDC CEO Rebecca Morter
