Monika Young started her career as a fashion buyer in Berlin. After witnessing the impact of fast fashion first-hand, she wanted to make a difference. Monika the Label was founded in 2020 - focusing on season-less collections, environmentally-friendly fabrics and local production.
ABOUT THE BRAND
Monika the Label is an amalgamation of 70s inspired Cali cool and East London grunge. Their collections are created from carefully chosen sustainable materials with a zero waste ethos. All locally manufactured in a North London studio, Monika the Label embodies slow fashion in every way.
