Born in Turkey, designer Sevda grew up surrounded by a culture with a long history in textile craftsmanship. Inspired and encouraged by her mother she went on to study fashion and created a brand that creates timeless, elegant pieces made from the highest quality materials with traditional techniques. Running alongside her strive for quality, is the importance of sustainability and ethical practises within her brand; Working with safer and more sustainable materials and ensuring fair and safe working conditions.
When she couldn't find the right handbag to take her form day to evening, founder and designer Sevda knew she needed to use this notion to create her very own brand. SEVDA LONDON create a wide range of bags designed to be styled with any look and that have the transitional ease to take you from day to night. Finished to the highest quality in Italy, the shapes and designs reflect a classic look with a timeless elegance.
We have created the LDC values in the form of our three symbols that explore the mindful, traceable and transparent processes and practices that our brands adhere to and stand for, to help you discover how the products are made and make conscious choices.

SEVDA LONDON plant a tree with every item sold to offset their carbon footprint.
The leather used in SEVDA LONDON products is a by-product of the meat industry sourced from a partner gold-rated tannery in Italy. The tannery offers full traceability of the European skins and assurances that the leather hasn't contributed to deforestation.
