With a degree in Womenswear Fashion Design & Technology from the London College of Fashion, Henrietta O’Connor takes inspiration from her youth spent in her grandmothers workshop watching her craft elaborate tasseled curtains and upholstery for her clients while sharing in her love of interiors and art history. She combines this with her passion for visual storytelling and an eccentric approach to design.
No Wallflower Project is a fashion label by young UK-based designer, Henrietta O’Connor, launched in 2019 at London Fashion Week. The debut collection, tells the story of Shakespeare’s Ophelia, reborn in the 21st century. She’s still sweet Ophelia but with a second chance, she’s stronger now. Strong and soft. Gentle and powerful.
Leisurewear is reimagined with a nod to the Elizabethan era and Pre Raphaelite women. The old and the new are intertwined to create pieces that are timeless yet contemporary. She’s all dressed up with nowhere to go

No Wallflower Project products are all crafted in England and where possible the materials are sourced locally. They are committed to reducing waste and the environmental impact of the company.
