Maria Agnes is a former model and actor. Her history in fashion design and pattern making exposed her to the social and environmental impacts of the industry. She founded Mariañes on slow fashion principles and contemporary design aesthetics.
ABOUT THE BRAND
Mariañes is a conscious womenswear and accessories brand. All pieces are handmade by local Indonesian artisans using premium organic materials. Tapping further into Maria's heritage and values, dyeing processes are completed using the traditional Idonesian ikat technique with low-impact and natural dyes.
