Maria Lau graduated with an MA in Mixed Media Textiles at The Royal College of Art, London. Born in Yorkshire with Chinese heritage, her bilingual upbringing has inspired her to explore juxatapositions and stories in her creative process. Her collaborations include DKNY London and Michiko Koshino.
Maria Lau is a slow jewellery brand incorporating a conscious practice that delivers well-made, timeless pieces. Creating jewellery with a soulful connection to ourselves and to the wonder of the world around us, Maria creates for the modern jewellery lover who is seeking meaning and story in their personal adornment.
We have created the LDC values in the form of our three symbols that explore the mindful, traceable and transparent processes and practices that our brands adhere to and stand for, to help you discover how the products are made and make conscious choices.
