Adele is the designer behind Aethera. She has been in the fashion industry for more than a decade and has seen first hand of the impacts and waste that fast fashion create. She sets out to create a lifestyle brand with quality materials in mind - natural and lasting.
The name Aethera derives from Latin - it means upper world, pure, or ethereal matter. The label was founded in early 2021 and aims to create pieces that transcend seasons and withstand the test of time. Each season, the brand includes new quality materials and build designs around that. Colours also play an important role in the design thought process.
We have created the LDC values in the form of our three symbols that explore the mindful, traceable and transparent processes and practices that our brands adhere to and stand for, to help you discover how the products are made and make conscious choices.
Aethera does not use polyester or plastics in their designs. All of the materials are natural and biodegradable.
Aethera assembled or hand-beaded their designs in melbourne studio. Their makers are paid according to the Australian standard award rates.
