ONLY ONE WEEK LEFT TO VISIT US IN BRIGHTON
We have been bringing the most exciting up and coming fashion, accessories, beauty and lifestyle brands to the Brighton scene since the beginning of July and we are so ready for Week 2!
We have been loving our time by the seaside so far, bringing some of the best in sustainable fashion to the iconic Brighton lanes. Week 1 saw us joined by Aulala Paris, Humpries and Begg and Aire, amongst other incredible brands.
From the 8th to the 14th of July, find us at 5 Hanningtons Lane to shop your favourite independent designers in store. And because we believe buying consciously means going beyond the product, we have a line-up of exciting experiential events including our exclusive launch party and the long-anticipated Groundtruth film screening. We can’t wait to see you there!
Its all happening on the 8th of July at 6pm – join us in store for our exclusive Week 2 launch party! You will have the opportunity to meet the featured designers, learn more about our LDC brands and most importantly have the chance to experience your fave coveted pieces IRL.
From 6.30pm to 7.30pm we are lucky enough to be joined by Groundtruth for an in-depth look at the creation of their sustainable and ethical bags made entirely from recycled plastic bottles. Their Product and Planet film screenings will be followed by a Q&A for you to learn more about the values and processes behind this game changing brand.
WHATS ON WEEK 2
In Week 2 we are beyond thrilled to be welcoming more designers to the sunny southern coast. From well-loved LDC names to fresh faces, there is no shortage of independent fashion, beauty and lifestyle for you to discover.
If you missed out on Week 1, you will still have the chance to shop a few of the featured designers and makers that have been with us since the beginning of July.
Aulala Paris creates some of the best in ethical swimwear and they are the perfect brand to get you set for summer in the most ethical and sustainable way. Their pieces are created using Econyl, a regenerated nylon material made from ocean and landfill waste!
Humphries and Begg are the undeniable masters of print. Founded by lifelong creative duo and husband and wife, Alice and Robbie, their designs are hand-drawn and then brought to life by a small team of artisans in Jaipur, India. You'll be sure to find us in their bold and colourful pieces all summer long.
Aire’s all natural, organic, hemp-based oils come in a varying range of THC-free CBD concentration levels, designed to calm the mind and alleviate stress. The cannabis sativa used in their products is organically grown in the Netherlands and they donate £1 of every product sold to mental health charities around the UK!
We are thrilled to have award-winning eyewear brand, Big Horn, in store with us from the 8th of June. Designer, Kevin Ching, creates striking, avant-garde sunnies influenced by a blend of Western concepts and Chinese culture. Not to mention, all their pieces are ethically made in Hong Kong!
Bentivoglio Paris is a truly timeless brand and we can’t wait to have them in store for our final week. Their ethically made bags are crafted from sustainable materials, including Piñatex, and their organic clothing range holds accreditations from Peta, GOTS, Oeko-Tex and the Fair Wear Foundation.
Handmade with carefully sourced jewels and gems, Tiana Jewel pieces are all about harnessing raw beauty and healing. The perfect bohemian-inspired jewellery to bring your summer looks to life, visit us in the lanes to experience all the magic of Tiana Jewel in person.
After an in-depth look at Groundtruth during their launch night film screening, you will be able to shop their range of products in store with us over the course of our second week. With sustainability woven throughout their brand, from their bags to the offset of their carbon footprint, they are a true trailblazer in the world of independent and sustainable brands.
Alongside these incredible designers and makers, you will also have the opportunity to shop Gung Ho, who create striking pieces designed to make a difference. Not only are their collections handmade locally using sustainable fabrics but each collection highlights environmental issues with a portion of profits donated to relevant charities.
We can’t wait for all the Brighton fun to continue from the 8th to the 14th of July. Don’t forget to RSVP to the launch party for exclusive chats with designers and the eye-opening Groundtruth screening.
Lone Design Club is where sustainable independent brands and conscious shoppers meet, discover, shop and learn more about what we are doing to promote sustainability.
