From desk to dinner party, there's something about our Valdivian Dress that turns every step into a sway. Digitally printed in our Rainforest Print - inspired by the deepest hues at the heart of Chile's endemic Valdivian rainforest - the soft semi-sheer recycled polyester fabric assumes a satisfying shape and movement of its own. Fully lined and cut to the knee, it has top-to-toe character with a high neck accented by narrow ruffles and a deep keyhole centreback, long voluminous sleeves finishing with subtly ruffled cuffs, and a flattering elasticated waist. When the compliments roll in, don't forget to mention the fabric comes from recycled plastic bottles - it's a real conversation-starter.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER Environmentally friendly and ethical fashion is often perceived as beige, hemp, boring, expensive and ‘too artisan’. Cue the arrival of VILDNIS – a sustainable women’s fashion brand that says out with the beige and in with the bold. Translated as ‘wilderness’ from Danish, this London-based, Scandinavian-inspired brand is determined to show that fashion can be kind to the environment and pack serious personality. Its collections are contemporary, edgy, accessible and audacious. Its only point of difference from conventional fashion? VILDNIS is easy on the eyes and your conscience. VILDNIS is founded by Danish-born Ulla Vitting Richards, whose 15 years of experience in the fashion industry exposed her to unethical supply chain and environmental practices that she wanted to set right, without compromising on style.
