Description: This sleeveless knitwear top from AW15 collection ANICCA comes from brand's first season of a sustainable approach. Combining the leftovers of luxurious knitted yarn from previous seasons together with found/recycled postal bags makes it a little daring and playful. This knitwear has been produced on Sheima Sheki knitting machine in Spain, outside of Barcelona and sewn together in London We head further into 2015 where higher vibrations and frequencies are being raised with Anicca – Lana Siberie’s AW collection. We fought; we failed and due to a lesson learned achieved enlightenment. This is why we bring the subject of impermanence, represented through the use of finding and readymade materials, which in synergy with raw and natural elements cover the importance and rise of conciseness around environmental issues like waste and serve as a reminder of earthly beauty. Patterned with sacred geometry (Vesica Pisces Dress), styles take their inspiration from clothing of Samurais and Geishas (Canvas Kimono for Unmarried), attributes of Roman Soldiers and Buddist gods (Maitreya Dress) and practices (Buddhic Tunic) that require installment of protective shields (Jumpsuit with Roman 'Belt of Truth') and garments allowing for energy to flow freely (‘Be like water’ – Bruce Lee overall) in order for transcendence to be achieved (Horus Wings Sweater). Iulia Filipovscaia, the designer behind the spiritually aware brand says: ‘Anicca is a promise of cosmic connection through a process that starts with dis-attachment and as a consequence of recycling. It progresses into becoming aware of the higher realms and use of gained knowledge to resurrect the magical human able to transform inner and outer spaces into the divine immortal continuum. Wearing LANA SIBERIE clothing is being charged with reawakened unconditional eternal love.’
Lana Siberie crafts one of a kind items from handmade, vintage and natural materials. Sustainability, Mindfulness and Wellness are the main principals that govern the realms of the brand's universe.
* The weaving irregularity and colour variations that may occur in some of these fabrics are intrinsic to the hand process by which they were woven and dyed.
Care: Due to the nature of the product, the best way to preserve and use is to gently wash your garment in cool water, use an eco washing machine, eco or natural detergent, and avoid any chemical products. Warning: don't iron the Lana Siberie label.
