Founder Jessica Kruger was inspired by her mother's work on an animal farm sanctuary (at age 55!) and created LUXTRA to offer a range of chic, cruelty-free accessories. Prior to LUXTRA, Jessica founded meat-free restaurant ETHOS. Jessica grew up in sunny Sydney, Australia.
LUXTRA (LUXury TRAnsformed) makes sustainably-minded bags, backpacks and wallets from the most innovative vegan & plant-based materials. All products are 100% made in Italy and the company is a certified B Corporation.
We have created the LDC values in the form of our three symbols that explore the mindful, traceable and transparent processes and practices that our brands adhere to and stand for, to help you discover how the products are made and make conscious choices.
LUXTRA is a certified B Corp (since 2020) which works exclusively with plant-based materials and is committing to circularity by offering free repairs services up to 2 years and a resale platform.
Luxtra is a 100% cruelty-free brand.
The company pays staff 25% above London living wage and donates at least 2% of gross revenue (this is more than profit!) to animal welfare charities.
