Born from the realisation that there needed to be a shift in the way that fashion relates to the environment, siblings Shereen and Ryan Barrett created Hide The Label to be a more sustainable approach to design. Making and creating being a big part of their upbringing, their inherent creativity and success in the industry lead them to craft a brand that challenges 'fast fashion' and champion longevity, sustainability and wearability.
Hide The Label's philosophy is to create simple silhouettes that can be worn by every woman for a timeless wardrobe. Focussing not on the designer or how current the style is, but the ethos and consciousness of the piece that incorporates sustainable materials, vivid prints and the perfect fit. Materials are derived from plant fibres and prints are created using techniques that use minimal water usage. With a sustainable foundation at its core, Hide The Label is always looking for new ways to improve season after season, on their mission to make slow fashion the only fashion.

Ethical Fashion designer Grace Haum was born in Peru and is currently living in the Netherlands where she designs her collection of unique and sustainably made alpaca wool knitwear. Her mission is to create iconic pieces that combine her European design influences with the classic construction techniques of Peru. Her consciousness and respect for sustainable fashion and human rights is apparent throughout her process, by collaborating with Peruvian artisans and sourcing sustainable, fair-trade materials.
Each Graciela Huam piece is handmade in Peru by a local independent Peruvian artisan to the highest quality. Her collections are made for the conscious and fashionably fearless generation; combining elements of social awareness and sustainability though the construction and materials whilst undoubtably being designed with an individualistic and expressive freedom for people who want to stand out from the crowed.
We have created the LDC values in the form of our three symbols that explore the mindful, traceable and transparent processes and practices that our brands adhere to and stand for, to help you discover how the products are made and make conscious choices.
Hide The Label use recycled polyester that is made from post consumer waste that is spun into fibres and then woven into fabrics. This helps to keep plastic waste out of landfill, which can take up to 1000 years to biodegrade. This technique to produce recycled polyester also uses much less water therefore reducing their carbon footprint.
Viscose is also used, which is a semi-synthetic plant based material made from 'cellulose’ or wood pulp from fast growing, regenerative trees.
Fabrics are never dyed, therefore reducing water usage, prints are created by printing directly onto the fabric- reducing ink and water wastage.
