London, UK - September 2020
The designer Carmelita Pascale launches her own line in December 2019. Always fascinated by culture, art and geopolitical fashion, she has decided to create a union between two apparently different worlds, West and East. Its stylistic identity goes beyond aesthetics, religion or culture, it is simply based on the different way of thinking and perceiving the meaning of things in a metaphorical sense; on the values and traditions that have always influenced the different cultures and generations. Only in this way, two such different cultures can be seen with the same eye. The brand is based on a personal style system that reflects and celebrates diversity.
All of us, without exception, want to be seen as unique individuals. This is why it identifies its brand as the union between the past, the present and the future; draw from more remote traditions to distort their connotations. Inspired by the Western fashion of the 60s, an era of social upheavals, with the birth of casual, he decided to contrast it with Eastern fashion, a voice in the world of street style, a set of different souls of local trends and influences that come from far away.
We have created the LDC values in the form of our three symbols that explore the mindful, traceable and transparent processes and practices that our brands adhere to and stand for, to help you discover how the products are made and make conscious choices.
