THE DESIGNER

Alyda's founder Abbey, started her journey into fashion in her teens, when she launched an online up-cycled fashion business. Being petite herself, she had always found it hard to find stylish, modern clothes that fit her physique and figure and was dissatisfied with the sustainable options available to her. She realised this disappointment was shared between women and so Alyda was born. 

ABOUT THE BRAND

Alyda is a petite womenswear brand that ethically and sustainably produces quality clothes for the modern woman under 5'4". Alyda meaning, 'little winged one' in Latin, depicting one who is small but powerful. They hope that their limited collections of carefully crafted pieces using ethically sources fabrics will empower and encourage petite women to feel confident and beautiful throughout the year. 

We have created the LDC values in the form of our three symbols that explore the mindful, traceable and transparent processes and practices that our brands adhere to and stand for, to help you discover how the products are made and make conscious choices.
